Tess, the owner and operator, brings 15 years of industry expertise to every session. While South Carolina does not require licensure, Tess chooses to maintain her active North Carolina license and memberships in the American Electrology Association (AEA) and the Greater Piedmont Electrology Association (GPEA). By adhering to strict NC Board of Electrolysis Examiners (NCBEE) regulations, she ensures the highest standards of infection control, sterilization, and annual continuing education. This commitment reflects her true passion: helping clients feel confident in their own skin.

While we recognize the benefits of laser treatments or waxing in certain contexts, we do not offer those services. If we determine that an alternative method would better suit your specific needs, we are happy to provide a referral to a trusted peer in the industry.

Hello there,
I have been a licensed electrologist since 2011, and my passion for this industry is just as strong today as the day I began. My journey started in 2010 at the Electrology Institute of New England, one of the most prestigious training facilities in the country. Following graduation, I joined a high-volume hair removal clinic where I had the unique opportunity to train under a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience. While my formal education provided a strong foundation, those years of mentorship allowed me to refine the advanced technical skills and precision I bring to my clients today.
In 2014, I opened the first location of Electrolysis by Tess in Wilmington, NC. For eleven wonderful years, I dedicated myself to helping my North Carolina clients achieve their goals and regain their confidence.
Recently, I relocated to Aiken County to be closer to my family and to bring my horses home. I am thrilled to establish my practice here in Aiken and to share my expertise with this community. Helping people feel comfortable and confident in their own skin is truly rewarding, and I look forward to supporting you on your hair removal journey.
